
Riley Gibbs is one of the United States' leading multihull sailors, who made his Olympic debut in the Nacra 17 at the Tokyo 2020 Games with crew Anna Weis. The young American pair capped their campaign with a superb third place in the double-points medal race to finish ninth overall.
Before the Games the duo had announced themselves by winning Nacra 17 gold at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, rising quickly through the international ranks. Gibbs has since broadened his experience in the America's Cup and SailGP arenas.
He remains central to the United States' ambitions in the foiling catamaran, with the prospect of a home Olympics on the horizon.
