Race village Nacra 17 Europeans 2015 open for public

The Nacra 17 European Championship officially started today. 43 teams from 24 countries will compete in the Nacra17 European Championchips, including the Spanish Olympic champions Iker Martinez and Fernando Echavarri. A total of 13 Olympic medal winners gather at the Barcelona International Sailing Center (BISC) to offer, for the first time in the short history of this new Olympic class, a spectacle of pure adrenaline in the waters of the Catalan capital. It will be a show completely open to the public.

The BISC, the high performance training center specialized in water sports is located at the Parc del Forum, under the solar panel. This week it opens its doors to the public so that residents and tourists can get closer to the sport and know a little better the stories and values of the nearly hundred sailors who will race for the European podium and who live and do their outmost for the Olympic dream.
