Jake Liddell / Niamh Meehan

Jake Liddell races the Nacra 17 for Australia with Niamh Meehan in a partnership very much in its early days; the pair had sailed together for only three weeks before lining up at their first international regattas in 2026.

Part of the Australian Sailing squad, Liddell and Meehan gained valuable experience through a demanding first season together, including the World Championship in Quiberon.

They look toward building a longer-term campaign in the foiling catamaran.

Niamh Meehan crews for Jake Liddell in a brand-new Australian Nacra 17 pairing that came together just weeks before their first events on the European circuit in 2026.

Based out of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, the duo took on the Trofeo Princesa Sofia, Hyeres and the World Championship in their debut season.

They are building the foundation for a longer-term campaign in the foiling catamaran.
