The nacra17 and Nacra 17 Classes are pleased to announce the European Olympic Qualifier for nacra17, nacra17FX, and Nacra 17 and the African Qualifier for Nacra 17 will be in Lanzarote, Spain.
The racing days are March 23-28, 2021 giving teams 5 weeks to arrive and prepare for the regatta.
The Princess Sofia Regatta was meant to be the qualifier, but it was forced to postpone until after the Olympics.
Lanzarote recently held a winter series and many teams are already on site. Teams needing to arrive will need a recent PCR test and a visa. Please check out the NOR for emails on who to contact for help on getting a visa.
Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, represents a cross section of all sailing. Wonderful local conditions including strong winds and rolling seas are blended with being a stop off point for trans oceanic voyages currently and in the distant past.
