Nacra17 Teams qualified for Rio 2016

The list of 39 teams from 23 countries that have already registered for the Nacra 17 European Championship includes almost all the top ten of this stunning double Olympic class.
Australia’s Jason Waterhouse and Lisa Darmanin claimed gold in the Nacra 17 with a complete performance across the 12 race series. The Australians finished every race within the top eight and their consistency proved to be invaluable as they won over France’s Billy Besson and Marie Riou by five points.
Nacra17 sailing at Aquece Rio – From 15 – 22 August all ten Olympic classes will compete in the Rio Test Event. The Nacra17 sailors will start their races on Sunday 16 August. The Nacra17 Class Association is proud to be one of the ten Olympic Classes which will participate in Rio.

The #nacra17worlds take place from 2 – 10 July 2015 in Aarhus. The program starts with registration days on 2, 3 and 4 July. The practice race is on Saturday 4 July and racing starts on Sunday.

The countdown to the 46th edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofia Iberostar has begun ready to welcome the spectacular Olympic Sailing in the bay of Palma from 28th March to 4th April. With less than a month to go until the start of the event, the regatta has already around 700 teams (667) from 59 nations representing the five continents, of which 56 in the Nacra 17 Class.
