In 2019 she teamed up with Josh Porebski, himself a former Nacra 17 World Championship bronze medallist, forming an experienced and capable Kiwi crew. The partnership combined Jones's class craft with Porebski's pedigree in the boat.
Jones has long been one of the leading figures in New Zealand's Nacra 17 ranks, helping keep the country at the front of a class in which it has a proud tradition.
