Aloise Retornaz is a seasoned 470 sailor who switched to the Nacra 17 at the start of 2025 after the 470 was dropped from the Olympic program.

Teaming with helm Tim Mourniac, she adapted to the foiling catamaran fast: the new French pair led the 2026 World Championship for much of the week before clinching silver, having earlier taken European bronze in 2025.

Retornaz and Mourniac are firm gold contenders for LA 2028.
