We have officially kicked off the 2023 Nacra 17, 49er and 49erFX European Championship in Vilamoura, Portugal!
Last night, we had around 400 sailors of 34 nationalities, nearly 100 coaches and numerous organisers and supporters gathered at the Vilamoura Marina for the opening ceremony. Today, the racing started at 12:00 UTC, with 2 fleets for the 49erFX, 3 fleets for the 49er, and a single fleet racing for the Nacra17.
We plan to have 3 races for each fleet every day until medal race day. Here is how you can follow the race:
