Ruben Booth (born 11 August 2000) sails the Nacra 17 with his younger sister Rita, continuing a remarkable family sailing story: the siblings are children of legendary multihull sailor Mitch Booth.

Ruben started in the Optimist aged six and, with Rita, won the Nacra 15 World Championship in 2019.

The pair have since progressed up the Nacra 17 ranks, taking junior honours at European level as they build toward Los Angeles 2028.

Rita Booth crews for her older brother Ruben in one of Australia's most distinctive Nacra 17 teams, a genuine sibling partnership and the next generation of the sailing Booth family, whose father is multihull great Mitch Booth.

After becoming Nacra 15 World Champions together in 2019, Rita and Ruben stepped up to the Olympic catamaran, collecting junior European podiums along the way.

They are an exciting young Australian crew on the road to LA 2028.
