Laura Farese sails Austria's leading Nacra 17 with Matthaus Zochling, the pair representing the Union Yacht Club Neusiedlersee.

Now into their third Olympic campaign and chasing qualification for Los Angeles 2028, they enjoyed a consistently strong 2025 with top-ten finishes across the circuit, including fifth at the European Championship and ninth at the Worlds.

The duo are firmly established among the world's better crews in the foiling catamaran.

Matthaus Zochling forms half of Austria's experienced Nacra 17 team alongside Laura Farese, sailing out of the Union Yacht Club Neusiedlersee.

Veterans of multiple Olympic campaigns, the pair backed up a solid 2025 with fifth at the Europeans, ninth at the Worlds and a string of top-ten regatta results.

They have their sights set firmly on qualifying for the Los Angeles 2028 Games, where the Nacra 17 will race in front of the Port of Los Angeles.
